REQUIRED GEAR FOR APPOINTMENTS
Protective gear includes: helmets, knee/ elbow pads, and wrist guards. Exceptions are made to pads on a case-by-case basis, must inquire in advance. Skateboard, roller-skates, or rollerblades, depending on which activity is scheduled.

REFUND POLICY

Purchases of lessons/ classes, packages gift cards, parties, camps and rental gear are non-transferrable, non-cancelable and non-refundable, with the following Exceptions:
1. if a gift certificate is purchased for an incorrect location, with a $10 processing fee.
2. If staff cannot be furnished for your scheduled lesson, class or party within 30 days of the original or last scheduled appointment, remaining balance is refunded.
3. If a camp is cancelled, balance is refunded in full.

While we certainly sympathize with all medical and financial situations, we receive many requests for refunds and we do not have the staff, time, knowledge, or expertise to investigate claims. We do not have the underwriting teams in place as insurance companies do to conduct investigations, review evidence, interview witnesses and examine records to determine the legitimacy of the claims. Thus, we advise all our clients to purchase insurance to provide access to an investigation of your claim for refund. In the years we have offered insurance coverage, we have seen most cases result in a complete refund.

PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS
All purchases, including any rentals, require 100% upfront payments at least 24 hours in advance of scheduled appointment time.

CANCELLATIONS/ RESCHEDULING/ FORFEITURES
We know your time is valuable, and hope you respect ours too. Out of courtesy to our hard working instructors, for any purchases 24 hours or more prior to your scheduled start time, we ask that you please provide at least 24 hours notice via email to info@sk8gym.com. if you need to postpone within 24 hours, an optional $20/ hr recovery fee can be assessed to keep your paid appointment and still be able to postpone it. Otherwise your appointment is automatically forfeited.
Exceptions:
1. If client's notification of late cancellation is received within 30 minutes of class start time, the appointment is not eligible for recovery and will result in an automatic forfeiture.
2. Any recovered late client cancelled appointments cannot be recovered again.
Additional Forfeiture:
If a client attempts to convince an instructor to provide lessons directly to clients and circumvent SK8 GYM, their/ their student(s) purchases will be automatically be forfeited. Instructors do not carry personal liability insurance, while SK8 GYM does.

Appointments can be late cancelled/ rescheduled by SK8 GYM at no additional cost to you, if instructor(s) unexpectedly cannot be furnished or any unforeseen issues occur with training space whether it be adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, closure of site or anything else. Your credit will never expire.

INSTRUCTOR REQUESTS
While we make every effort possible to accommodate instructor requests, there are some instances when instructors are substituted. Information about  students are relayed to the alternate instructor, preparing them to effectively continue where you and/ or your student previously left off. The substitution will be announced in advance.

RENTAL GEAR
In order to guarantee rental gear is brought to your appointment, please be sure to rent at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled start time. Any rentals purchased within 24 hours of lesson start time are not guaranteed to be available for your lesson.

If you arrive to your appointment and require last minute rentals and if those rentals are made available by your coach, rental fee payments are due prior to the start of the lesson and can be only purchased electronically via the online shop: https://shop.sk8gym.com/collections/rentals, We do NOT accept cash for purchases. other than  for instructor gratuity.
